TO: THE SISTER WHO CRIED QUIETLY AND ALL THOSE STRUGGLING THESE PAST YEARS

The sister who is spending these past years by herself,
The sister who is lonely because she’s not married,
The sister who is lonely in her marriage,
The sister who is struggling to find work, 
The sister who is struggling to get her financial stable,
The sister who has been trying for a baby for years, and endures regular hurtful comments from others,
The sister who is trying her best to fulfil her obligations and take care of her kids, but is so so tired,
The sister who is struggling with her families,
The sister who is fighting with her mother,
The sister who has lost someone she loves, and she misses them everyday,
The sister who walks alone in shiratal mustaqim but hurtful by relatives unsupported comments,
The sister who has reminded her family to turn to Islam but rejected and alienated,
The sister who is struggling with anxiety or depression,
The sister whose world has been devastated and her life scattered by shocking news,
To every one of you, and all the other sisters who are facing innumerable challenges! 

Know, dear sister, your solace and comfort lies with Allah, Ar-Rahman, the source of our relief and the reliever of our distress. He is Able to Do All Things. Turn to Him and cry. Pour your heart out to Him. He is the One who can bring you ease, who can set right your affairs, who can relieve the burden that is weighing on your heart and know, for your patience, your reward awaits you in Jannah, in shaa Allah!! Hold on to Allah and know, with absolute certainty that He will never leave you, never let you down and that your reward lies with Him. He is the Most Merciful, and He is ever near.

BE KIND TO EVERYONE

As I wrote this, it was a reminder to myself, first and foremost, that we never know what others may be facing in silence. 

As we pray tonight and every time, let’s remember the sisters who are struggling in our du’a.

And as we move through this blessed month and beyond, let’s make the effort to be compassionate, to help where we can, to ease the burden of others if we are able, to be patient and to be kind to everyone.

Your silent du’a for her might be answered!

The Most Beautiful Women Ever Exist

Not once did we see their faces, not once did we hear their voices, but when we read about them, we developed such love for them and there was such beauty in our eyes for them.

Subhan’Allah. These are the Shahabiyat [ Women companions of the Prophet Shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam ). Ever wondered how they looked? We can only be amazed. These are such people who embody such amazing definition of “beauty” for they define beauty not by looks but on their worship and love for Allah Azza Wa Jall

Indeed, whenever we remember or we are reminded by the characteristics of such beautiful women, we can not utter any other word but Subhan’Allah, how great was their faith! It is but true that not one picture of a female companion of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalaam exist nowadays, but look at how many people love and get inspired by these very women. Allahu’akbar!

They were beautiful yet no lip color was present at their lips, rather such lips were moistened by the remembrance of Allah Azza Wa Jall.

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala berfirman:

إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ

“… Sesungguhnya orang yang paling mulia di antara kamu di sisi Allah ialah orang yang paling bertakwa di antara kamu…”  [Al-Hujuraat / 49 : 13]

Sometimes, one short caption contains a loooooong story behind it but don't know how to start and explain. These go with what I'm feeling for my entire life and I hope Allah will forgive all negative and ungrateful things in my life. I don't want to share the stories behind but rather, how I found myself thought things like these quotes.

It's easier for me to do this : to talk with myself, to reflect and discuss with myself, 

so nobody misjudge me the way they want.

"Dan (aku datang kepadamu) membenarkan Taurat yang datang sebelumku, dan untuk menghalalkan bagimu sebagian yang telah diharamkan untukmu, dan aku datang kepadamu dengan membawa suatu tanda (mukjizat) daripada Rabbmu. Karena itu bertakwalah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepadaku."

Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda :

الْمُؤْمِنُ مِرْآةُ (أخيه) الْمُؤْمِنِ

Seorang mukmin cerminan dari saudaranya yang mukmin [1]

Allah Azza wa Jalla menciptakan ruh dan menciptakan sifat-sifat khusus untuk ruh tersebut. Di antara sifat ruh (jiwa) adalah dia tidak mau berkumpul dan bergaul dengan selain jenisnya. Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam telah menegaskan hakekat ini dengan bersabda:

الأَرْوَاحُ جُنُودٌ مُجَنَّدَةٌ فَمَا تَعَارَفَ مِنْهَا ائْتَلَفَ وَمَا تَنَاكَرَ مِنْهَا اخْتَلَفَ

Ruh-ruh itu bagaikan pasukan yang berkumpul (berkelompok). (Oleh karena itu), jika mereka saling mengenal maka mereka akan bersatu, dan jika saling tidak mengenal maka akan berbeda (berpisah) [2]

Memilih teman yang baik adalah sesuatu yang tak bisa dianggap remeh. Karena itu, Islam mengajarkan agar kita tak salah dalam memilihnya. Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda :

الرَّجُلُ عَلَى دِينِ خَلِيلِهِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ أَحَدُكُمْ مَنْ يُخَالِلُ

Seseorang itu tergantung pada agama temannya. Oleh karena itu, salah satu di antara kalian hendaknya memperhatikan siapa yang dia jadikan teman [3]

So what does a woman desire, whether it is her worldly affairs or her Hereafter, when she displays herself, when she reveals her beauty, when she intermingles with men, and when she purposely tries to put them to trial and get their attention. 

What good does she desire with these types of actions, and what type of virtue does she hope for?! 
Certainly, it is, by Allah a tremendous loss, major evil, and widespread trial.

As for the intelligent woman, for indeed, she is far removed from these type of actions, fearful of Allah - the Lord of the creation the owner of majesty and completeness - diligent in the obedience of her Lord and attaining His pleasure.
